Food Safety

The health and safety of our consumers is our top concern. That is why we have several procedures which insure the best quality products.

LALA’s Food Safety system is based on the requirements and guidelines of certifying agencies such as Quality Chek’d and México Calidad Suprema (Supreme Quality).

We have the following certifications:

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points

This process involves the protection of food from raw ingredients and packaging material contamination. Its application is compatible with quality management systems such as ISO 9000.

Its main benefits are:
a) Reduced losses, non compliant product and quality incidents
b) Increased productivity.
c) Increased commitment to customers' needs.
d) Encouragement toward ongoing improvement.

Quality Chekd: A US organization that provides ongoing counsel to milk and dairy processors, allowing them to guarantee quality process and products.

México Calidad Suprema (Mexico Supreme Quality): “México Calidad Suprema” is an official certification granted by the Mexican Government to domestic food products that meet the highest quality Mexican standards.

The basic principles of the Calidad Suprema seal are:

We have procedures for preparation, release, handling and storage of products, all supervised by the Quality Control and R&D areas.

We conduct bacteriological, physical-chemical and sensory analyses. We apply Good Manufacturing Practices and validate them through certified independent laboratories. We maintain cold chain distribution so that the product does not lose shelf life, thus guaranteeing its quality to the final consumer.
