Lala International Marathon

Every year, on the first Sunday of March, the LALA International Marathon is held in the Comarca Lagunera region. This marathon is the second largest in Mexico in terms of number of runners, and the most important nationally. In 2010, there were more than 4,000 runners of different nationalities.

LALA International Marathon is also recognized for being an Olympic Games selection event, for the World Track and Field Championship, and for having the largest number of spectators along its path. The enthusiasm of the locals is one of the reasons many runners come back to participate.

In support of this sports event, LALA employees volunteer their time in all aspects of organization, logistics, attention to runners, special guests and authorities, providing a consistent level of quality and warmth that have come to characterize this event.

We are sponsors of the Mexican Soccer Federation including the Men’s and Women’s National Teams, U20, and U17.

NATIONAL REFEREE COMMISSION

We at Grupo LALA are convinced of the importance of encouraging fair play on and off the field, which is why this year we began to support more than 600 national referees. Through the sponsorship of the National Referee Commission, we contribute to the physical and technical training of Mexican referees.
